Join The Purpose of Recovery for the 4th Annual Recovery Rally. Come and celebrate people in recovery, recovery allies, and community partners! At this event we acknowledge Overdose Awareness Day which is August 31st and recognize the roles of peers, professionals, service providers, donors, family, and friends, in advancing the message that “Recovery is for Everyone” Every Person, Every Family, Every Community! The rally seeks to reduce stigma, bridge the gap, highlight services, and create a network of resources for individuals and families to heal, stabilize, and create purpose in recovery.
The FREE event is on Saturday, August 24th from 9 am to 2 pm at Elks Lodge Park in Garden Grove and includes a boxed lunch for registered attendees, community partner booths and tables, entertainment, recovery speakers, music, snacks, and fun! The event is family-friendly and will have a bounce house for children to play in.
